San Luis, Hotel Galvez, Tremont House, and Moody Gardens are all nice places to stay.

If money is no object then take her to the San Luis. The Galvez is ok. Both overlook the ocean. Moody Gardens is nice but does not overlook the ocean. It is on the water but in the bay side. There are also some private condos on the beach and some beach houses that you can rent. That would be nice down on the West end like in Jamaica or Pirate's Beach.

There is a new hotel at the end of 45 where it ties into the seawall but I don't know what it is called. It looks nice from the road.

I miss the old Kemah, before it became a tourist destination, with family run unique restaurants, and oyster shell roads.

You can go to Moody Gardens & also check out the Airplane museum. I think someone off this board works there so you may be able to get a hook up there. Haven't been to Sea Wolf park in years but I bet it's still around.

Ah, check this link out, maybe you can find some other stuff, but here's the Seawolf park.
