My car has 285/35/18's on a 10.5" wheel. Will the 295's look ok?

Yeah, 295s for the win on your 10.5s

For sure, even better than the 285s

I have pulled many a 1.6X 60' in my Jimmy w/ the BFG's. I went to the track once w/ Nitto's and it only took a couple passes to realize my Bridgestone Potenza street tires hooked better.

Both the GForce DR's & the KD's are still on BGF's site, if they stopped production, I would think they would remove them from their site....maybe they were just on back order or make them in batches?

They used to make the KD in that size. That's why I thought they'd discontinued it. When you punch in 315/35/17, you get the G-Force R1 and the above linked drag radial.

It's looking like I'll be going back to the 315/35/17 really soon, so I've been researching it again. I think I'm going to go with the Vredesteins. Tomzwheels.com has them listed for $639 + shipping on their site for a set of four (2x275/40/17 and 2x315/35/17). They're getting great reviews, too. I had the Goodyear GSD3's before and they're great, but I'm just not sure I can stomach $1300 for tires again.

The other alternative I'm looking at are the Nitto 555R's, but I'm just hesitant to get a drag radial, as I sometimes end up having to drive the Camaro to work, and if it happens to be raining, it can get ugly.

BTW, the sub you sold me still works great.

i tried getting the bfg's from discount yesterday and they said not even the company has them, such a big waiting list or something, so i decided to step it up, go with the mickey thompson street radial 305/35/18's for 260 ea.

I got a used set with about 3k miles on them for sale if I can get some street tires to replace them with. No tread in the middle left but some on the sides. Still good for quite a few more runs I'm sure. They're the 295/35/18's
