Default Valve cover air breather?

Can you put a small K&N style filter where the oil fill cap is on the stock valve covers? Would there be any advantages? Would I have to take it off to fill my oil? Thanks!

the advantages are that you can cap off all of your PCV system. it gets rid of all of your lines and cleans up the engine bay a little.

i would buy the caspers breather that EPP sells. its a two peice system that looks good and replaces the oil fill elbow. to fill the oil you just pop off the filter part. i like mine pretty good, and no more PCV crap

here is the link to EPP's catalog

I had a breather on mine for like a day and a half. I put my stock PCV back on because I could stand the smell in the car when I turned on my heater. I puting a catch can on instead.

Take the oil fill cap off, slide this one on, clamp it down. $17 & change and worked like a charm.

You don't have to remove it. just poke a hole in it. and fill. j/k
