Hello everyone,
Fastcayman hails from the sunny Cayman Islands.
I'm trying to kick some butt down here and could use a little help.
currently running a 98 LS Camaro with: line lock, draglite 15" w/ 26/10/15 full slicks, dual stage NOS Dry system 100hp as primary and 100hp wet as sec,
pacesettr long tube heders, y pipe, edlebrock torque bar, lakewood controll arms and panhard bar.
after all that! my tranny sounds like its slipping, it makes a grinding sound when launching but only in drive. as well when I reach third gear and @ 1850 - 1900 rpm it shimmers but only at those rpm ranges. does that sound like a tranny thats quitting?
who builds a good tranny for those cars and doesnt want your last platelet.
Anyone herar of PDL Transmissions in Miami? they were recomented by Murry's speed shop in North Miami.
