Thumbs down Snow! Melt you b!tch!

Wow.

11" of snow in Lincolnwood at 5am.

Edens was trashed. Tri-State was better, but not good.

I 100% hate Chicago from 12/1 thru 3/31.

Got a nice mix of snow/ice/slush all over everything in Ohio this morning. And I drove to work in it. At least they were prepared for it so the roads weren't as bad as they could have been. The parking lot at work though showed what the roads would probably have been like if they got hit unawares - couple inches of crap.

Even though my camaro is already a bit dinged up and only a V6 I still feel sorry for it driving through this kind of stuff

It took me 45 minutes to get to work. It is 10 miles one way. Moms in mini vans need their own lane and to stay the **** out of mine.

Haha, they were talking it up so bad yesterday and last night on the news and radio of how we were going to get slammed with anywhere from 6-12 inches of snow... I proceed to start my car this morning at 5 for work and I can still see my damn yard! I think the grocery stores are behind the scare tactics to boost the sales of milk and bread

No ****. They built the drama like it was the "Blizzard of '08" coming. Final numbers I saw last night were 8-10" of snow. I left my apartment this morning and was still able to see the grass. The best part was the weather reporters on TV. Instead of admitting their error, they were out on the streets covering the "adverse" conditions - slush. I'm actually working up a ficticious resume to apply for a spot on the "Forecast" team. Should be awesome.

The company I work for has an office in Lafayette, and they told me they have about 5" there. My family lives in Logansport, and I haven't heard anything from them. They were projected to see between 10-14", but I'm doubting they got that.
