Default SLP's

SLP makes some nice front floor mats. it really makes a difference for the passenger side cat hump.

they are a sponsor on here.

i dont know if they carry rear floor mats.

You can get them from SLP with just an "SLP" logo, for the non-SS cars.

Or, you can get really nice quality custom mats made by Lloyds, with or without a Z28 logo. I have these in my '98, they are a perfect fit, and much better quality than anything else on the market, IMO. You can see a pic of them if you click on the '98 Z in my sig. I also have their deck mat.

I beleive that the '97-'99 Dark Gray colored factory GM mats have been discontinued. You'd have to get '00+ Ebony if you want GM stuff. But I'd pass on that anyway, Lloyds is so much better.

I got a brand new set of GM mats for my 94 back in 2000 or so. I think they cost me $120. I got a set of Lloyd's this Christmas for my 00 and I think they cost the same. The fit is perfect, they have a nice Firebird logo, and they are much more plush. Unless you're super-concerned about factory originality, Lloyd's all the way. Got mine from Afterthoughts Auto -------->

I wanted the mats to match the carpet is really the only thing I wanted. Only the drivers side is showing wear. The car only has 65,000 miles on it. I will check out SLP. Do we get a discount or anything from this site?

What year is your car?

I've ordered interior parts for a '98-'99 car before, and automatically received the '00+ color instead, because those part numbers are listed to override the disco'd older number.

Not really a big deal. I went with black mats in my dark gray interior '98 anyway, since black is my accent color, and there is a lot of black trim inside the car stock anyway.

Okay if someone could find the part number on the back of the mats maybe? I appreciate it. Maybe I could find some NOS stock somewhere. I really was wanting a color match. I will look at the lloyd mats but if someone can find the # that would be great.

I'm telling you, call your dealer, they know the part number. No need for NOS when you can get NNS in just the right color. And I think they were like 25 bucks or something ridiculously cheap like that anyway, I was surprised how cheap when I bought mine.

I don't think they have new stock of the '97-'99 Dark gray color. '00+ Ebony is only slightly darker, and I beleive they are now substituting this color for the older cars.

They may tell you it's for a '99, but that's not always the case. For example, if you order a new center console lid for a '97-'99 car, they WILL give you the lid for a '00+ car. The older dark gray ones have been disco'd, but they don't tell you that at the time. The '00+ number just overrides the '97-'99 number.

Same thing with the rear-view mirror. You can't get the '93-'00 mirror any longer. They can only get the '01+ mirror, and advise you to order a wiring harness adaptor for the older cars.

Oh sorry didn't realize they changed the color. I just bought mine last year so figured it was no problem. I think I'll be able to help with some digging.

I imagine what you need should be in here somewhere. I think you'll need to check your VIN number inside your door if you don't know which diagram to go by.
