One more vote for Circle D. One of my friends ( Brent ) is a trans builder at Circle D. They do good work and do it quick.

Personally I wouldnt go to Century. When I was daily driving my car I had so many problems with the tranny. If your car sits in the garage most of the time they would be fine but if you like to drive it 20-30k miles a year go somewhere else.

Ive been through 3 of their transmissions. I have nothing radical by all means. The car has 140k miles. The first one at around 50k the second around 90k then the next 120k. I had Royal Purple in all of them. I treated them good, go tthe fluid flushed once a year(15-25kmiles). I did all the stuff to hopefully get them to last longer, no such luck. The car went to the track maybe 2 times a year. It had a transcooler on it also. If this one breaks it will be going somewhere else.

I'm not sure whats going on with your set up, but there are guys making alot more power and running faster and there not tearing them up. How is it acting right now?

We have quite a few Century Built 4l60e's in cars making over 700 RWHP with no issues.

Mike Kurtz is the man for the trans!
