Southern Members - Hobby lobby car show

Is anybody going to go to the carshow at hobby lobby tonite? I just figured some of us northshore guys could hang out before our feb 17 car show.

What time is it and what kind of turnout do they have? What type of cars?

knowing Slidell, it's probably going to be a rice fest. If it's not let me know I may go out there.

Its thr gulf coast cruisres car show and its usually old cars in the show and us newer car guys just hang around the outside where the old cars are.

I just passed it on my way home and it is jam packed.

We went thru early and there were no fbodies, later we passed and a Black T/a w/hids or silverstars (00badfnta?) was the only one there parked by the china buffet, towards the end of the night, like you said Bluethunder was there talking with a blue fox body stang w/a hot engine and ladder bars. They had a hemi charger and a vert cuda that were cool has could be, also an old, old, old car up front by gause made with wood, model a ford maybe?

Yep, made it by there. Saw 02camaross. Saw the trans am with flames. Good looking car. I liked his tag, URPREY. Couldn't tell if anything else was done to his car, other than exhaust.

Where was everyone else? I cruised around a little bit, just in case I missed something, but it was a dead night for F-bodies and mustangs.

was putting a new strut in the passenger side of the goat till 10:30 last night. got out there in time to see the guy wid the yellow car that does donuts and he left with a hell of a show also including a red nova.

It sucks seeing the same cars all the time, and sucks that they won't let us show our cars in there. But, at least they are out doing something.

I was planning on going till my second job orientation(sp) in saturday and sunday. Make sure yall video tape this.

Yeah we walked thru, I wasn't in my car, it was nice and sunny that day so we were out in it all day and had just washed her and put her to bed, those old school guys are cool but for some reason, I cant put my finger on it, its does get kinda boring, the show in downtown Covington is a lot better you can buy beer and food and some of the bars have live music, the atmosphere it a lot better, Covington has it going on, Slidell (the people that run the city) have no clue. I hear the show in Hammond that starts up in march is cool for fbodys and has no set year requirements.
