Default What have we here?..

The base below the boot it stamped steel the color of the lower stick. I assume what I have is a stock non-hurst base with a short stick of some kind?...Anyone know for sure? The stick is pretty damn thick.. 1/2"+...

dude, i've never seen that before, almost looks like some homemade stuff... i have a 99 z28 and my stick is way different than that. whatever that is in the pic is not stock i don't think. the shifter might be, but the stick is not. it should bolt in from the other side. and should have a much smaller diameter with a little curvey stick. try to find a pic of a stock setup on here to compare. does the fake leather boot even fit over that?

Probably a custom shifter stick. Not exactly sure about the shifter base, but it looks like my stock Hurst.

For some reason that spacer makes me

I dont think its a Hurst since the base is stamped....and yea, between the thickness of the stick and the solid spacer/ no vibration deadening, it had "not factory" written all over it, for better or for worse. Feels like junk to me (do to the base I am sure), I cant wait to drop a Hurst or Pro5.0 in there...Might still use the short stick tho

Is it installed right on my car or does it go on the other side?....Doesnt seem like it would clear to the other side.....also the curve goes toward the dash which seems counter intuitive, but if it curves to the rear its on the console in 2nd...

It's installed right. It's a spacer to move the stick closer to you. Looks just like my SLP base/WS6 Store short stick. My set up worked great b 4 my stock clutch went out. Good shifts not to notchy
