Default Testing out the APS twins and BOV's

This is about 9.5 psi and I am not going past 5800 rpm's. Logs say it's only 75% throttle via the TPS. And the AFR is about 10.5 with the fast dual wideband. These are the turbosmart supersonic BOV's purchased from my man Matt @ New Era performance. The car pulls hard just need to finish the tuning and go run this bitch. 145 miles so far. Here is a little video I slapped together for the APS guy's who want to replace them.

Good to see those Kooks fit nicely. My final setup is a Novi 2000 on a forged 347. Should be a fun ride...

Sounds great JM! Thanks for the vids! BTW, what did you do to close off the opening for routing the BOV's back to the air inlet?

Default Whats the best turbos for 600 whp on my dd?Have about $2gs 2 spend...

Ok Guys so let me start off first buy saying you guys are a bunch gods in my book.....I love all the the things you guys do to your cars such inspiration so much time such small funds lol.....

Ok well I was wondering what would be the best type of turbos in your opinions for a 600whp dd ls1 240sx w t56?...Yeah I know Im sick....
But Honestly I want the 600hp to "be on tap" Ive had several 4-5oo hp supras
t-birds on nos....But the useable power band suked imo,,,,
Electronic boost controllers rule.....

Would 2 to4e turbo's be good enough? I checked out the flow charts on them and each is good to about 575 with a max of 30 psi..(note on 4-6 cyl aps)
I'm thinking that i want 15 psi tops for the strip and about 8 psi for the street.

I've had two gt70r turbos on my supra and they were too peaky,,,,,
Nothing nothing nothing holy shiate holy shiate...nothing////

I already have an assortment of parts, basically a complete kit minus the turbos......

Also what type of mods would you reccomend?

I'm thinking at least cam,rod-bolts,bearings,metal head gasket, tb,wideband, water meth, injectors, fpr, fuel pump
and a greddy e-manage(these things are sick!!!)

Also what type of plugs you guys running by the way?And the gap?
I love the iridiums...they work great...

I would really think about doing pistons also, I don't think you'll need meth injection to get 600 hp, but you'll make more power and be able to run more boost so you could maybe set this up with a two stage boost controller for when you want your "race Mode", with turbos you really don't need to change the cam. Lower compression will let you run more boost and if your goal is to make an honest 600 hp on pump gas and you'll run it as it is I would run the smallest turbos you can find to meet your power goals. This way you'll get really fast spooling and if you stay with the stock rpm range you'll make a lot of usable power and won't have to add gear and a lot of other stuff. Having full boost from 3k-6k is awesome for a street car.
