Im about to get my car repainted and im looking for sugestions on a color. It's black now and it seems like every T/A you see around is too. I want to go with a color that doesnt come stock from the factory, well at least on trans ams. I was thinking mabye about electron blue but im not sure how it would look. Any body have any ideas and/or pics to help me out?

69 LeMans blue
2003 WRX Blue Pearl
Marina blue..

Electron blue is very nice but ive seen a TA done that color so why not be totally unique?

hey thanks for the reply steve. Yea blue is the shizit, only problem is I dont know what thoses colors look like but im gonna try and find them . Any body else have and ideas? doesnt have to be blue...

I saw a picture of a vette painted this mettalic orange color (not SOM, but lighter). I think it was in the Wheels forum awhile back, but it was pretty sweet. (If you wanted to stick out like a sore thumb and be unique) I'll see if I can find the pic again.

I'm partial to lighter metallic blues myself.

Well here is the WRX blue.. forgive the fact that its on a Subie but you get the idea:



This color would be killer on a fbody.. i get more compliments on the color of this car than i would have thought possible.. its a very deep pearl metallic.. drop by a Subaru dealership to see the color

Sprial grey is nice but the blues and bright colors are better "show off" (and magazine) colors.. lol

I would do a color you havent seen on a f body. I really like Mystichrome for the new 04 cobras and also sonic blue for the 03's. I also thought about a candy red. I went with my paint cause I never seen a steal grey pearl SS and have always loved the color on the viper ever since they brang it out in 2000.

good luck and one thing you might want to think about is staying with a dark color. My car was black before since I went with a lighter color you can see black on the bumper from rock chips.

Some year F-bobies were painted with that color. 95 maybe? It's not at eyecatching as that but is changes from teal to purple.

My 94 was painted that color, its called Mystic Teal Metalic. It doesnt look no where near as good as the new 04 cobra!
Not a good picture but you can see the difference in color.

Charcoal Grey Metallic is my favorite. I don't have a picture or sample of in unfortunately, but it looks bad ***. Plus since your car is already black, the engine bay and door jams wouldn't look too bad since black goes awesome with the color. That is unless you have the cash to do it all

I love this color, but in the end the choice is up to you. I think it's called "Sunset Pearl." "Electron Blue" looks BADASS too. Either way, you can't go wrong.
