Default pics for yesterday summit seires race at Fontana

Well I finally made it out to a Summit race at fontana. It was really really cold and the track was surprisingly good! I was running 13.40 @ 104 all day with a 2.0 60'. I got into the second round of elimination when i broke out with a 13.35 @ 105. over all it was alot of fun and next time we should try and have a meet at this event.

what did your buddies Evo run?

Did you end up racing Sportsman? How many passes down the track?

yeah summit race you can just show up and race! Its 35 buck to run in the sportsman bracket. You get two time trials and then bracket racing eliminations start. They did have a full day of time trials for 75 buck but you had to pre register and only 15 cars were allowed in. My Uncle in his Evo ran a best of 12.70 @107 on 91 Octane. The next one is April 12 and 13 but its to close to Super Chevy show(march 27-30) I will be attending that instead.

yeah the street legal drag event that they have just suck! There are just way to many cars and you get only like two runs if you are lucky. The summit event is less crowed because its a bracket race event and people are competing for points. never the less you do always get at least 2 time trials and then eliminations begin. yeah mine is an A4 with only a granatelli Lid, drop in K&N, and good driver mod
