Oil pressure question
Wanted to utilize stock oil pressure sender plus an autometer gauge and was wondering, does anybody know if the pic below of oil gallery has pressure so a sender could pick up? thanks

I'm not sure if it has pressure but it should, 'cause I think its the way from the pump to the filter (someone correct me if I'm wrong)
I'm using it for my oil temp sensor

I and most other have utiltized the bypass plate above the oil filter for a aftermarket gauge.
But I think that anywhere on the lower oil passage could be used to get a reading of oil pressure. I think you are on to something.. I have never thought of using those plugs. There is also another one near the rear of the block if you can not access the front one do to the accessories (alternator or Power Steering Pump).
I think the only problem is that the plug use a hex key to drive them in.. you would have to screw in the adapters afterwards. I someone could design a new plug with a threaded port on it.

It is on a 02 SS Camaro, I have repaced the oil pan, have Canton with remote oil filter. I thought about putting a T behind intake, but cannot find any T parts in 14mm. Just looking for options, thanks for the help and chiming in, i appreciate it!
