Good bye halo's, hello whistler
One of my halo headlights burned out, so I took them apart and got rid of the halo inserts. I kind off got sick of the halos because too many people around here were getting them; I like the look of the whistler mod far better than the previous look of the halo's. Here are some pics:

so wait your saying that there wasnt any holes or anything like that when you took that thingy off? can you get some further away pix, i have a silvercar too and was wanting to do the black all the way to the back like you had yours, i did mine on the surface only and it looks like it's wearing glasses lol

There was a small hole between the high and low beam section at the bottom, but its hardley noticeable when blacked out. I can send you some far away pics when I get the chance.

nice man, i actually did the same thing the other day. i wanted stockers again but my old ones were cloudy, come to figure out there stock under the halos. took the inserts out now there back to stock!

Buying halos and taking out the insert is actually much cheaper than trying to buy two new aftermarket OEM replacement headlights. Its just a pain to get them apart to take out the halo piece.

you had some trouble with them? mine were pretty easy to come out, maybe you didnt put them in the oven long enough. But yes buyin halos and taking the insert out is much cheaper your right on that
