I noticed some wax pencil writing on my intake the today, and Im starting to wonder if it has been changed. What is the easiest way to tell what intake it is?? Also does anyone know what brand the fuel rails and spark plug wires ect.. that were used by the factory? I noticed some things say bosch on them, is this stock?

Thanks for your help

ls6 intake is flat on the bottom and has no provision for egr tube unless someone has modified it or go to gmpreformanceparts.com and get the part#

I hate when people say try a search but when its a easy answer that can take someone literally a minute to type and they still say do a search. Why even make threads anymore why not just search for everything and not bother anyone. I know some people ask extremely dumb questions but still it only takes a min or 2 to answer them.

I didn't see that anyone answered about the Bosch question. You should have AC Delco plugs stock. No Bosch.

Well I dont know what plugs it has, I just know that the something near or on the fuel rail, and maybe the dist cap says bosch. I was just seeing if some things on the camaro' s are bosch stock

bosch dist. cap on a '98 LS1???? Wonder what all those coil packs on my '98 are there for?:D Only playin. OP, you don't have a distributer cap on your LS1. If you could, take a pic of what you are talking about. This would help greatly.

They didn't come factory with Bosch or AC Delco(i've read it somewhere before). It was some other brand. I could do a search on here, but then I would take all the fun away from you doin it.

At first glance you'd think my LS6 intake is a LS1 intake. Aside from the headers, it's got that I'm stock look to it...

The 2000 LS6 intakes had an EGR provision to them. And LS6 intake sits a little higher than a stock LS1 and has the flat bottom (picture somewhere here earlier). The factory cars came with Delphi electronics, I think. It's ACDelco either way... Plug wires: 748CC part # at Advance.
