Default HID's

I just ordered some HID's - 6000K temp and I can't wait to get em!!!! Just thought I'd share. Does anyone have pics of 6000K temp? I looked up others and I think it will look great on my NBM car.

man i just didnt want any blue. as a matter of fact, i ordered 6000 at first, then changed to 4300. I wouldnt mind showing a little yellow light, just as long as its not blue. did you look at pics b4 buying?

4300K is the stock yellow color, looks more like candle light, it's not white or even close to being blue.

a 6000K it's a diamond white,
a 8000K is white with a blue shade to it
a 10,000K is a bright blue light

I believe 4300k and maybe even 6000k are brightest. Anything beyond 6000k is ricey.

here is what I found. in general terms, 4300 is white, 6000 has a very light tinge of blue, 8000 is blue, higher than that gets purplish.. check out this color chart for reference: http://www.xtralights.com/categories/HID3colors.gif

4300k has the most usable light.

So what do you guys do about your fog lights?
I've been thinking about HID's but I'm not sure what to do about the fog lights. I likewant the blueish tint headlights but don't want to have that and then have yellowish fog lights and I won't spend the extra money to put HID in the fogs.

I've been thinking about this but I've seen the HID's I'm gonna buy on a nbm camaro like mine with stock fogs and it looked pretty damn good. I'm still thinking about getting HID fogs at some point but I'll post pics once I get them installed and y'all be the judge.

I just wish I could get the housings for my TA, I can get the HID kits at a nice price from a buddy that sells them. My bud just got some really bright ones that are white, I need to find out more about them, but the ones he had before were blue-ish, but not these.

Man, that little tinge of blue is worth it if the 6k are the ones my friend has. My Cherokee has some of the crappiest lights ever, I need to do the H4 conversion on it & get HID's as well....just trying to wrap up the stuff I'm doing on the TA first, lol.

they're a white light . . . just like a LED . . . . the easiest way to describe it is . . . stupid bright white light!

The lows are worth it, but the highs take way to long to come on. Even with the 4 high mod, there's still a delay.
