LS4 Performance - Car went in to the Body shop today.

I had some front end damage from highway debree.

The car was drivable so I told them to order all parts and then I'll drop it off in the shop. Supposed to be done by weeks end or earlier. All parts came in yesterday.

So I got a rental through Insurance its a Crysler 300. Not a Hemi though.
Man I havent driven another car since I got the monte so i think I am a bit spoiled. I didn't have time to look at the engine of the 300 to see what it is I had to haul ass to work. But that thing can barely move. I was trying to pull out fast out of a lot and this thig got to 5000 rpms and barley moving out at 20 MPH and slowly climbing. It has nice interior and a lot of room. I am sure if you throw in the 5.7 or 6.1 it moves nice. Hope the wife likes it maybe I can convince her to get one them with a hemi instead of an SUV.

I can't wait to get my car back. I think once I get it back, it will feel like I am driving it for the first time again. after driving this turtule for a few days. LOL

glad the car is getting fixed....i think those have the 3.5 in them.....very large car for that size of an engine......but like you said they have lots of room...i was looking at the chargers as well as the GXP......the GXP was almost too small for me....

No wonder it cant move just looked under the hood at lunch it is a 2.7 V6 its good for 178 HP and 190 lbs/ft of torque in a 3700 pound car. A mail truck just did a ricer fly by on me and I couldn't do nothing about it.

I have been for a ride in a SRT8 300C. . .that moves :P
