GM vs. Motive
From what I have read GM gears are by far the best setup and quietest running, but how about strength? Are the GMs just as strong as Motives? 4.10s to come soon, and I want to ordered the best overall gear for quiet&strong.

Both the GMOEs (made by AAM) and Motive Performance gears are quiet. The GMOE gears can be set a little bit tighter, which would make them only a hair stronger, but either gear will be sufficient. By switching to a 4.10, in an M6 car, especially if you drag race, no matter which ones you put in, you are capable of blowing the rear end. Once you go up in ratio, the strength really declines. We also have both of these in stock and ready to ship, along with TA girdles, master and mini install kits.

3.73 would be a little bit stronger. When you go up in gear you are essentially losing teeth on the pinion. It all depends on your driving. If you race a lot, and have a good drag radial, you may blow the rear end. I had 420rwhp and 400rwtq, with stock 3.42 gears, TA girdle and stud kit. never once made any noise and cut a few 1.78 and 1.80's. If i still had my car, i would do GMOE 3.73, keep the TA girdle and stud kit.

I had a set of GM gears and a set of Motive performance gears side by side for comparison. The Motive gears were clearly beefier looking with slightly larger teeth and surface area. I have to go with the Motive's being the stronger of the two.
I ran both and found the GM's to be more quiet.
