Default Turbo selection, please help!

1. I am getting a custom turbo kit built for my LSx in my 1993 rx7. Fitment is VERY tight so i am limited to a 3" down pipe. What is the largest turbo available with a 3" v-band flange on the exhaust side. I was looking into cutting off a 3.5" or a 4.0" but i hear this can be bad for the turbo, just wondering what my options are here. i would like something over 70mm.

2. I was also wondering. If i get a turbo in the 72-76mm range on a stock cube forged motor what size a/r exhaust housing would be best for a turbo this size.

thanks!

with your packaging constraints id say a T76gts would be your best bet.
i think it has a 3" exhaust outlet as well (might have a 3.5 but you could always step it down)

i spoke the the fabricator building my kit... we are going to go with a step down from a 4 or 3.5 inch to 3 in. and probably do a 74mm turbo.

i think you would fine with the precision 76 like mentioned, its one of the best compact ones for this motor and especially would help you out with the area you have to work with. I say just do 3.5" to 3" and you'll be fine...I believe some of those turbos are 3" v band outlet, mayyyybe 3.5". Anyways good luck with a badass project/setup

How much power are you trying to make. The most compact 76mm unit in the market is the TC76. Easily handle 700+rwhp and spool faster then a 76GTS. Also something to think about for it as well.
