Default ss hood

not sure if this is rite place for this thread... but anyway... was wonderin who makes the best aftermarket ss hood?? ive been seeing them go on ebay for real cheap! should i get one off there, or stay away from those? thanks

I've been studying this question for a while and the only way I've seen to satisfy my fitment requirements is by OEM hood only. I've heard good things about VFN SS hoods but have yet to see one in person. I'd like to see more pics from aftermarket hoods installed on Camaros as well.

I agree the best fitment would be with OEM. I would steer away form ebay as you dont know the quality of the hood until you recive it. Then trying to get your money is another problem. Otherwise, I would stick with well known manufacturers like VFM,Harwood,etc.

there is a really sick one on ebay that has vents on each side of the hood scoop.... you should atleast look into it or one like it....looks sick

Google Suncoast Hoods and check out there SS Hood....you might like it.
It has an LT1 style SS Scoop....I think it looks great....and not so many people have them.

look in the classifeds, youll usually find a decent OEM hood at a good price
