Default This or Catch Can?

hey guys, i was just wondering what would be the best route to go. Do this http://ls1howto.com/index.php?article=18 , or just get a catch can? I would think a catch can would be the ultimate way to control oil consumption but I could be wrong. Plus it seems a lot easier to install..... what do you guys think? thanks!

Even with the LS6 style valley cover a good functional catch can is all you need to sure most of the issues.
