Gears & Axles - Moser or Strange. 12 Bolt or 9"

I know that this has been asked a couple of times, but I still dont know which set-up I should get. My car is my only transportation. By the end of the year I will have an estamated 450 hp to the ground. What rear end set-up do you think I should go with. Hey neighbor.

All I can tell you about my Strange 12 Bolt is that it's completely silent. I have about 600 miles on it so far and everything seems perfect.

It looks nice to.

I'm in the same boat. I'm half way through my breakin period on my Strange 12-Bolt and the thing sounds and feels great. I've only gotten into it a couple of times and it pulls like a mother and has such a tight feel. From what I've heard things only get better once the breakin period is up. I can't wait <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

12 bolt or 9"? Tough call. 12 bolt should be enough and is easier (and cheaper) I think.

Where did you get your 12 bolt from. What TA are you using with it.

Another Strange here <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> I've installed 2 and both are quiet and the torque arm bolt's don't fall out <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> Had to throw that in since I just went through that problem on a customers LOUD Moser <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

I have a Moser 12-bolt w/about 5000 miles on it so far, its been tested good enough, on slicks, and its held just fine...lot of metal dust after the first gear oil change... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Mine is pretty quiet as well, I have 3.73's

im with the others- i just installed my strange and have about 100 miles on it. its pretty silent. theres a little whine about 80. way more quiet than my 10 bolt gear swap. ill see how it is after some 1.4 launches <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
