Default ls1 heads vs ls6 heads

i have a 2004 gto with a ls1 in it . im thinking about putting ls6 heads in it
would this be worth the trouble? how much more would i gain?

Yes it is worth the trouble! I just put a new set on mine gained 40rwhp. Give Gunnar at Patriot a call!

I'd figure 15-20rwhp with stock 243 heads....but if you go with a smaller chamber and ported heads like ArklaTexan....you see what he got.

You're gaining compression and flow, is where the bump is from.
my opinion, if you are paying a shop to install stock 243's, wouldn't be worth it for the labor you'd pay. If you a DIYer then do it.
