How much are you planning to spend?... for a new GM Parts assembled LQ9 longblock complete from valve covers to oil pan, without: intake manifold assembly, exhaust manifolds & water pump.

Brand new LQ9 GM Parts longblock crate engine for $3550 + shipping. I was planning to swap out the 5.3 in my Suburban for a 6.0, and was working on a deal for a new LQ9 crate engine. I've been doing a lot of research in the last couple months, and learned I could make an aluminum 5.7 work in my truck. I'll just have to use all the truck bolt-on parts, like intake, water pump, oil pan, etc. So...I'm thinking about getting a 5.7 and reselling the LQ9, so I won't lose my down payment. It's the going price for a new long block, but it seems everybody is looking for used and having it built up forged & hi-po.

I have a 6.0l Block. Stock crank, rods and pistons. Its dissassmbled. It had 38k on it when took apart.

I tore it apart to rebuild it with everything new. I have new rod bearings, piston rings, arp rod bolts. The only thing it needs to be complete is main bearings and main cap bolts. Other than that its ready to go. I had planned on putting it in my Z28, but Im leaning more towards selling my Z now so im jus going to put an LS1 back into it and sell it.

PM me if youre interested and we can talk details.
