need help with idle,what size drill bit 4 trex? ??? {trex guys}

Default need help with idle,what size drill bit 4 trex? ??? {trex guys}

hey guys, i got a 90mm tb, i wont to no what size drill bit you guys r use to drill out the hole in the tb? i got a mail order ture from texas speed, when i start it, it wont fire up without pushing the gas, then after i hold the gas down 4 a few sec... it will idle find is there any tricks to help me out? thanks john

yeah, take it to an actual tuner. Don't drill that throttle blade, there's no going back. I am completely against mail order tunes. The idle has to be tuned manually.

Agreed, A Mail Tune On A Cam Like That Is Crap, I Had Over 12 Hours Of Tuning On My T-rex Before It Starts , Idles, And Low Rpm Drives Fine.

i never drilled a hole i took it to a tuner wen i ran a trex

Yeah do not drill a hole. Before you read this, know that your TPS sensor should read 0% at idle.

Try adjusting the screw for the throttle blade. Open it up a little. The only way to know for sure that your TPS value is still at 0% is to use a Tech2 or a tuning program and monitor it at idle. Here is a quick way to reset it so you don't need a tuning program.

Once you get it to start up without using the gas pedal, turn the key off and unplug your TPS sensor to make sure it resets and becomes your new position for 0% throttle.

thanks guys texas speed told me they drill out the tb on all the car they tune??
