Default wanting to mill ls1 heads

i am going to be running the trex again. and while i have the heads off im getting them ported and i was wondering if i had them milled if the trex cam would like about 11.1 comprssion? will have pistons with valve reliefs in them so ptv wont be an issue ne advice is greatly appreciated. thanks

You are gonna need to verify how much piston-to-valve clearance you have first, then decide if you can afford to mill the heads. TREX is a big cam, that although is designed to work with stock heads, its design is max effort and does not leave much room to work with in there. Measure to be sure, then decide if its gonna be safe.

I would spend the money on a fast intake and not touch the heads. That is what the trex likes.

T rex builds cyl psi with out needing a lot of compression.

im going to be putting in some mahle pistons with valve reliefs so there shouldnt be ne problems there at all. i was just wondering if bunping the compression up will help me out any. as for the intake i am lookin at the new weiand intake i like what i am hearing about it. plus its cheaper then the fast
