Default Unknown cam?

Hey, I recently bought my 2002 ws6 and its already got a cam. The dealer that sold it to me did not have any info/specs on the cam. Is there any way to find out what cam it is without pulling it out? Thanks

Not likely, unless there is enough info scribed into the front of the cam. Could happen though. Would have to pull the front cover and see.

you might try to locate the previous owner. you can get his name from where you get your registration.

Your local rmv would be able to provide you with the prev owners info.....Just tell them you left your laptop in their car and lost their number etc.....

The extent of the valves lift will somewhat explain as well as jph mentioned,,,,,
