Default Truck MAF to IAT. Is this correct?

I looked at a couple pin outs. I'm going speed density so I'm scrapping my MAF.

For the IAT its a 2 pin connector.

1- IAT signal source
2- Low reference

So can I take the Black Low reference wire from my 5 wire truck MAF harness and put that into the pin for Low reference on the 2 pin IAT plug? Then do the same with the TAN IAT signal source from the truck MAF?

Also, what IAT sensor are most guys running? The stock one just uses a rubber bung to seal, I can see that leaking under pressure.

Thanks for confirmation! I did search all over the site and couldn't come up with much aside from a couple wiring schematics.

You are correct. A early f-body or sy/ty IAT that is thread in is ideal.

when wiring the new 2 pin IAT from a 5 wire MAF, the black wire goes to A and tan goes to B on the sensor connector
