General LSX Automobile Discussion - Broke my Oil Pressure sending unit

During LS6 manifold swap. I can't get a new one til tuesday, none of the local dealers have any in stock. This sucks. lol

We were being damn careful with the thing too. Ohhhh well.

No kidding. We were making great time on it too. I disconnected the brake booster too, but I think the line got snagged and that's why it broke.

lol, join the club man, i had the same problem, lol started on a friday didnt get it done until wednesday cause they couldnt get the part, they they sent a single prong unit when i beleive its either a 2 prong or 3 dont remember.

I dunno. I have several friends who work at various GM dealerships. I called all of them, but none of their dealerships had them in stock. I had one of them order it for me and it should be here tuesday ish.

I replaced the knock sensors & harness already, moved the rails/injectors over to the LS6 mani, now I Just need the sending unit.

My knock sensors were so rusty. I cleaned out the holes in the valley cover with some carb cleaner and wiped them out. Then I threw the Knock Sesnors in and RTV'd around the harness seals.
