from what i have heard and read up on about SLP is just that they do hang very low. they say it has horrible ground clearance. also at stock height it hangs very low. i suggest getting some pacesetter longtubes. they are the best bang for the buck header. nice fit, finish and quality. it woke my car up big time.

They work fine. Their down fall is clearance and the difficulty in installation.

if you dont care about the clearance,,,they are fine,,mine are only about an inch lower than the K-member,,,so saying that they have horrible clearance is a lil extreme,,but not every car is the exact same. Pacesetters are not Stainless Steel, and WILL be rusty within a year or two,,even if you dont drive it that much. The SLP's will last alot longer than that

If you want to wait, SLP is coming out with new style of headers pretty soon. They are supposed to have better ground clearance. Look at the new products section on there wedsite, they look pretty nice.

Ha you can't go wrong with SLP's for $200. The only real issue is the ground clearence, performance wise and quality wise they are great.

I've had SLP headers on my Z for 3 years now. I've never scraped them. Yes, they do hang a little low but if you don't drive your car like a bulldozer you should have no problems. BTW my car is not lowered, I'm still on stock springs.

Good luck.
