got me a sweet deal on Z28
I drove al the way to missouri to buy it but it is so rare to find low miles for a good price, i payed 13,250 at a dealership for an 01 z28 M6 with 29k miles...it was immaculate too i would have to say it looks brand new with ttop, leather, every option minus the traction control. It has a mti lid and some blue filter on the end of a hose on the front left side of the engine compartment, the dealer said its some kind of intake or something ill take pics and post them to see if anyone knows exactly what it is.

I will get some pics up left at 7 am got home at 9pm so it was too dark but i got around 27mpg on the way home, i was curious how mpg would be, ya that is a good deal i wanted something pretty much stock, its just so hard to find low mileage cars that havent been wrecked. This car has a cool history, it was owned by the chevy racing team supposedly. A Dealer bought the car from them for his wife, she never drove it so then he traded with the dealer i bought it from for a 38 coupe that my Dealer builds and works on. Thats what they said but i dont know if i would believe the chevy team part. However the dealer i bought it from had a sweet custom shop they had a old chevy coupe like a fifty something that they were chopping down and building, it looked sweet

The first thing im buying for the car is the ravelco anti theft system for 400 bucks because it would be horrible if it got stolen...i know they could load it on a flat bed but nobody will have an opportunity i park in a garage at work and at home

im not sure what this hose below is for, if your looking at the car its to the right and goes down and then back dowards the engine, the guy said it had to do with intake. It also has a mti lid anyone know what it is?

That filter is just a breather for the AIR pump. If the dealer is saying something like that he is totally clueless or dishonest and the milage may have been rolled back.
Did you get a carfax on the car before purchase? I'm not saying that is the case, but I'm a sceptic consumer.

It is for the AIR system which is emissions. Just tuck it down and out of sight instead of up top and noticable.
