Wheels & Tires - Pics of HP evo wheels

I am deciding on which size HP Evo's I want to get for my black 96 WS6 clone T/A. I really like the 19 inch but not sure if I really want to go that big but they look sooooo sweet. So I am leaning towards the 18's but havent seen to many T/A's with the 18 inchers on them. So I was wondering if all you guys could help me out and post some GOOD pics of your cars where I can get a clear look at the different in size of the wheels. Some profile/side pics would be ideal but beggers can't be choosers so I will take any pics. Also please post if your car is lowered so I can figure out what set up I would get along with the wheels. those are all 19's .. hp18's are too small for the t-a.

i saw some with 18's they look like 16's idk why but the inch makes a HUGE diff. SIZE DOES MATTER ;)!

OK you guys just sold me on some 19's! I cant get them for a little while because I just graduated from college and finally started my job. Where can I get these besides E-bay. They are usually on there but as of now none are listed. How wide is the lip on these? Also can someone give a quick eduacational on what exactly backspacing is and which mm I should get. THANKS for all your help guys!

the lip depends on the size rim you get.. i have 19x9.5 all around . that means 3.5inch lip... but they are super hard to get man. like i said i was on back order through the company for 11 months and gave up. talked to a member on here and he hooked me up!

Mine were 18x9 rear & 18x8 fronts, I ran 245s in the front & 275s in the rear, got them from an ebay vendor.

i bet 19 tires are way more expensive...its not a very common size nowadays. personally i do think the 19s look better.

I have the HP 18s w/ polished lip. Has anyone with these wheels had problems with them denting when the tires are installed? Polished or machined lip.

Something just doesn't look right IMO.

yea, im my opinion they are a Trans am wheel

probably the tire in the back. Its a little too tall. I got the set used, so its not the optimal size. Its a 285/40/19. Way too big. I think it will look better when I get a 30 series tire on it, so it isn't so much taller than the front.

Yeah a 30 will be better...and i think SSNISTR is talking about the front tires. Look too wide for the wheel...

I agree. They are a 285. They will be getting replaced with a 255 or 265. Should make a noticable difference as well. Anyone want to buy 2 Michelin Pilot Sports (285/35/18) with about 70% tread remaining? lol

its all about the tire size....if ya get the right tire size than the Rim will look good no matter what size it is. i drove in my buddies car with 19's and it rode like a tank...not very comfortable IMO. i got 18's..

I noticed no difference in 18's vs 19's ride wise ...but did feel the added weight in the steering wheel.

I think the tyre is too wide for the rim on the front, and the tyre on the back is to is to fat.

Anyone got a set for sell? I don't care if it's 18/19", would prefer at least 9.5" though.
