Default ls1 intake

i want to put an ls1 intake on my 06 sierra 4.8. What all do i need to convert over. An if anyone has the parts for sale.

ls1intake?.....idk what u need to convert but im more then ready to rip that black thing sitting ontop oy my engine off my car.

Take a look at this thread http://www.performancetrucks.net/for...d.php?t=357424. Also, take a look at this thread http://www.performancetrucks.net/for...d.php?t=392089. With a 4.8 L, you are nowhere near the potential of the truck manifold, even with ported heads and a bigger cam. The truck manifold outperforms the LS1 manifold for an engine of that displacement. If you were doing a conversion putting the 4.8 into a car with a low hood line, that would be a different motovation and a different story.
