I have 4.8L (ported/milled) on my LS1 block. Currently I have 01' Camaro manifolds, which fit fine. I'm thinking to get the ARH headers, but looking at pictures of the headers, it looks like the passenger side front primary might crossover where the spark plug is.

Q: Are the splugs in different locations on the 4.8L truck heads compared to the 5.7L Vette/Camaro heads?

Thanks. Obviously I meant headers, not heads. I was concerned with the primary off the cylinder contacting the spark plug.

Depending on the year of engines some 4.8 and 5.7l engines got the same exact heads. Maybe not the same year but the "LS6" head casting became standard on the 4.8l in I think '08.

So maybe the OP should post the casting number.
