Default fuel pump for a 2006 5.3

I am putting a 5.3 in a 50 model truck and need a fuel pump. what would be a good one? also it only has one fuel line to the rail. how is fuel pressure regulated? this came out of a 2006 tahoe

You need to use a vet fuel filter with internal pressure regulator, and a frame mounted hp pump like a walbro, aeromotive etc. It has to put out 55-60 PSI and a return line has to plumbed back to the tank.

does the return line come off of the filter?

Yes the return line will come out of the filter/regulator.

Wont the tank have to be sumped? Are the walbro pumps noisey?

do you have a part number for the vette filter ?
