Default How much power does the stock oil pump hold up to?

Im running the stock oil pump and Ive noticed that lots of people are running a ported or aftermarket one. I was wondering is there a certain power range or another factor that will maximize the limit for the stock oil pump? Im running all the bolt ons, MTI C2 cam, and stock heads for now. Im also running the stock timing chain, will that need to be upgraded too? Do I need to worry about the oil pump and chain right now, or isnt necessary until I do heads? Thanks

Engine power really doesn't have much to do with the oil pump. As long as you get good oil pressure at high rpms (60psi) its fine.

People replace the pump due to intermittant failures that occur. Same with the timing chain. Its totally up to you if you want to change it.
