Default Fuddle Converters Good or Bad?

I'm thinking about buying a 3800 stall from them but I personally don't know **** about the Fuddle company or their converters.. Just wondering who has any experience with them or if y'all know anything about their reputation.

I wouldn't. If I were to do it again Yank PT4400 would be my choice.

How much power you pushing and what are the plans?

The anti-balloning plates are for N20 cars for the most part.

I'm not pushing jack as of yet - maybe 335ish but I'm looking at a cam and spray very soon so need a solid converter

Do a search for some threads about them. They seem to have taken some very bad reputation hits a few months ago, however, they might have cleaned them up.

If that is your plans, then get a nitrous converter from the get-go and save some time and money.
While your at it, might as well get a beefed up tranny cause if your tranny is stock, its going to let go soon after.

you think i'll have a problem spraying a 100-125 shot on a stock tranny w/ the stall? i've known people that kept the stock tranny for quite a while w/ stall, cam, and spray..?

I have put in 5 or 6 fuddles I would guess and people seem to like them. Customer service is an issue I had but their product was nice. Most converters you will buy now come with the anti-balloning plates. Main thing is put in the trans cooler and beware you better have a gear in there to match the stall. I see people come in and the first thing that goes out is their 3/4 clutch pack being burnt because they have too much stall and not enough gear.

How many miles on the tranny??

I know when I did my heads/cam I blew the trans up on the 2nd WOT run.

Then bought a Stage IV trans from Rock On transmission, the week beofre the went under, and it blew up after 600 miles and a few runs on the juice.

Now, I have a FLT stage V trans and it lasted all summer and ~20 or so 1/4 mile N20 runs and still kickin. After this one, I am going 4L80E for sure!
