Default Mice?

I decided to start the car the other day just to let it run for a little. I don't drive it much in the winter, nor do I goin the garage much. Anyway, I seen a few mice run away and wondered if I had to worry about them gettin' in the car. Engine bay or eattin' up the leather. Just wondering what you guys have delt with. Trust me, traps were set.

I'd only worry if they had your keys.

Damn mice ate all the wires going into my ecm. Had to rig that up not fun at all. Didnt bother tearing up any of the interior. Went to the feedstore and bought some poison blocks for rats. problem solved.

Not really. Mice can wreak havoc on stored vehicles. My 72 Culass rarely gets driven and is stored inside. Mice enjoy setting up camp in the glove box. For some reason, the little sob's will not exit the vehcle to use the restroom. I have also been underneath and dug a nest out of the frame rail.

I have also pulled a mouse nest out of one of my motocycle's headlight assembly. They decided to use some of the wiring insulation to line their nest. Again, there was failure on their part to leave the nest area to answer the call of nature.

So, mouse traps and poison are part of the automotive storage procedure.
My garage is not attached to the house, so apparently the little buggers think they can have the run of the garage.

lol, they wont exit to use the restroom! anyways plug up the exhaust and intake while its in storage, set up traps and put poison out. Unless you have one of those bag things to put your car in theres not much else todo to prevent mice from chewing your wires up and setting camp somewhere

I have a friend who put aftermarket pipes on his banshee, when he moved we grabbed the stock headers stored in his garage and they were filled with nuts. Happens often, I hate the disease carrying little b@st@rds, about the only way to deal with them is traps & "bait block", you put that stuff out, it smells good to them, they eat it, then they die.

Just kidding, traps and poison will do the trick. I would check your car a couple times a week while its sitting for the winter.

The tape is covering the hole the mice chewed in my car cover.
You sure that's not an air soft gun? you can see the winder for reloading on the bottom of the clip?

Well that explains it, AEG's have a winder on the bottom of the clip to keep running BB's to the spring and be fired.

Well either way sweet gun!

This garage isn't insulated or heated. It's not even attached to the house. So we're talking one cold garage.

Stored my car for 2.5 years when I left to live in Europe. Set out poison and traps and my car came through unharmed.

I'd heard a lot of bad stories, so I made sure to take precautions.
