Pro Stock Racer Dave Connely returns....... But not where you would expect.
For those wondering what Dave Connely has been up too since losing his Pro Stock ride this year, here is a vid and interveiw with Dave at an IHRA event in Fla.

There's a rumor that Dave will be back behind the wheel of a Pro Stocker in Gainsville this spring.

Connelly is a good bracket racer, so it's not a surpirse to see him at an IHRA race not far from his hometown. Hope he gets some backing for the Pro Stock deal..

Dave hasn't lost his ride.....just the sponsor. Victor Cagnazzi is hard at work trying to secure a sponsor. They mentioned that Victor was absent from Pomona because he was looking for a sponsor for Dave's car.
Dave took his bracket car to a lot of the NHRA National events and raced it along with his Pro Stocker.

Dave's dad raced, Norwalk I think doesn't matter.I think Dave drives in Pro Stock and other classes because he is a good driver....... He is young he is a good kid. When he opens his mouth the English language come out. Shame that he has always had so many funding issues and wasn't born into a racing family with deep pockets. I hope he returns.

Funny they mention the dirty dozen stuff... Granted if I was in his situation I can't say for sure I wouldn't have done the same thing. One of the best out there, I think it's extremely cool that he (and Jeg) still bracket race.
