Default Lid + Hose

So i got an slp lid... yeah with the hose.. now that i look more and more i see alot of you just dont even use it... and cut the hose back.... is it safe to run it that way....? how far back do you cut it?

Thats part of the AIR pump that some of us have removed. From what i understand, you would need to remove the whole thing, not just the one hose.

I didn't cut any hose on mine. I used all of it and just connected the existing hose to the one supplied with the lid. Now I don't have any hoses in my lid though since I deleted my AIR system.

just take ot the air pump u dont need it you can have it turned off by your local tuner

you just need to find somthing to plug the hole in the lid and you will be fine. I actually found the bung at the gym in the pull up machine. I am sure you can check around at hardware stores etc.. You just need to cut the hose enough to where you can tuck it somewhere if you don't want to remove it. I tucked mine behind the headlight in the fender where you can't see it. Don't forget to put a breather in the air tube. these can be found at the rice burner section of any parts store.

haha yeah i got a lid for pre 00 or 01 or whenever air began being used vehicles and just stuck a breather filter on the air hose where it was supposed to feed into the lid. theyre like 7 bucks or something at a parts store. I was thinking of doing !air when I do my header install but just said eff it.
