What paint to use to lightly coat your tail lights?

Default What paint to use to lightly coat your tail lights?

I know there is a sponsor or someone who coats tail lights and i know some people do it themselves, for the ones who do it themselves, what type of paint and brand did you use?

yea just wondering if it should be auto paint, a latex paint or model paint or what?

there is a silicone type application you can use.. I think its silicone..
I seen something about that online the other day..

The stuff people use is called NIGHTSHADE. I think AUTOZONE has it....

Autozone does not carry it anymore due to laws around here. they wont even order it for you. I found some stuff that works better than that and is much easier to apply and faster drying.

We mix ours ourselves and it is pretty expensive for what we use.
Beware of rattle cans. The high cost works its way out with higher volume of lights we tint and other things that gets sprayed here and there.

I'd go with Pavlock! I've seen some of their work on this stuff and I thought it looked very good!

yup yup, spray it with the spray gun and treate it just like normal automotive paint (cutting and buffing etc)
