It looks to me like the intake ports aren't finished around the valve. Also what kind of intake gasket do these heads match up to. I know people have had some pretty good results with these heads but I am all about every last HP I can get . I would Pay an extra $1000.00 for 20 more HP . Dont look like the time was spent on these heads . When I spend 1300.00 just on port work I want it to be perfection.

That's cool man i appriciate your opinion but you would have been better keeping it to yourself.. Fu*kin homo... Will be posting some very impressive numbers here in about 3 weeks!!! Low,low 10's baby!!!

Well i mean i dont; have all that extra money laying around everything on my car is paided for in cash.. i owe nothing and this is the second motor i have built in a year so i am a lil tapped... i will let the numbers speak.. I will post dyno sheets the day i get back from getting it dialed in

Well you aint to far away for us to meet in the middle and run for some money. Dont be mad at me I was being nice . I tell you what my 408 will be finished in about 3 weeks and I ll run you my motor to your spray . And then if you feel the need to call me a ****** homo Ill know your at least man enough to say it to my face.

Haha we could do the pinks thing... Just kidding, It would be fun man.. wish i had the money for a iron block setup.... I am just used to guys on here being dicks.. no offense i just get worked up easy over people that have damn near stock cars and knock your ****..

That's cool... i mean i am 23 and this is my second build.. i am sure when i get your age i will be there... I mean you got to start somewhere man.. What are you hoping to hit N/a on the 408? high 9's low 10's Solid roller?

mine match to a gasket just fine.....

I want to say high 9's NA But at least low 10's and a 300 shot to back that up. I built my 383 LT1 car when I was 21, I am 27 now. Your car will run low 11's no problem with that set up. I am just partial to the AFR and more recently the AI heads. My 408 is a hydraulic roller, but I will shift it at 7200. Here is a pic of my new motor. I blew my 383 LT1 up and will put it back together in a couple of months.
