Manual Transmission - Tranny questions

I think im going to need a full rebuild but I just thought I would ask here first.

The tranny grinds into third and fourth

Alot of the time you have to put it into third more than once because it will pop out when you let out the clutch.

Also it wont hardly go into 6th dont know what is up with that but...

Bent 3-4 shift fork?
Bad synchro?

Its going to need a freshen up consisting of new syncro rings , upgraded 3/4 fork , seals , fork inserts and your other typical stuff that gets replaced in an over haul .

Don't wait too long... that grinding is not doing it any good.

^^Definately don't wait to long or you'll be parking that thing. After mine started doing the same exact thing as yours, it took about another 200 miles and I dropped 2-3-4-6 on my way home one night. Had to shift from first to fifth (which was still a damn wrestling match). Luckily when it happened I was only 5 miles from the house so I didn't have but one stop sign between me and the driveway. BTW, I used Six Speeds Inc and couldn't be happier with my tranny now.

Yea the car is already parked. Partially because of the tranny and mostly because of the foot of snow lol. Its been parked since it started acting up real bad but its getting closer to spring and I want to have it done in time. I sent six speeds inc a pm yesterday to discuss options but I believe I will be going with them. Thanks for confirming my suspicions.
