Default WARNING! Xtreme Auto - Lewisville, TX

I know I drive a Ford but I thought I would give you guys a heads up on the poor work and service done on my 97 Cobra:

Here is my filed complaint with the BBB:

I purchase window tint install on 12/23/07. First issue occurred when the passenger side window peeled up from bottom, install tech cut off small bottom section instead of replacing the entire window tint. 3 days later same window peeled up, Xtreme replaced window tint. 9 days later driver's side quarter window, back window and passenger side window all peeling up. Owner refused to refund money and replaced all windows. 1 week later the passenger side window peeling again from the far back edge. Customer is advertising Llumar film and it is clearly not llumar film quality. After a month and a half of the driver’s side film being installed, the film was removed by hand and no glue residue remained on the window. Owner hung up on me when I called to complain and asked for a refund a second time.

Company Address: 413 E Round Grove Rd, Lewisville, TX ‎

Owner: Mr. Langley

Just my experience, you can decide for yourself.

The mexican tint places can be some of the best. Sunmasters in lewisville was ALWAYS great and the tint lasted forever. However they wont do anything illegal.

Ya, I'm pretty sure it's your fault for owning a ford. That wouldn't have happend to a real sport car

Hmm.
I have been to a couple of car show over there.. Alot of New C6 Z06's built, Couple of Vipers, i have a friend tht had his FRC built over there and it is a monster.

Having your windows tinted @ a Performance shop?

Wow, business must not be good... Or maybe there is a second part to the story?

Thumbs down xtreme auto dont bring anything here!!!

Hello everyone yeah dont bring anything to this place. I brought some high end ting film to them. They said they could install it with no stars or air pockets. I get it back every window is messed up. They redo it waisting more of my expensive tint. couldnt get it right this time either. They also "tried" to install my stereo. They hook everything off one high low converter putting all the speakers on one channle and not telling me that everything is being ran off one channle. i get it back try and tune the next day and the rear speakers are blown. i bring it back they say they are not responsible for used items. I had just pulled the speakers out of my old car the previous day. They worked fine then. So i got to bring it to car toys to get everything working right. I am now filing reports with the BBB and filing charges with the justice of the peace to bring them to small claims court. I am astonished that such a crappy company could be on a good part of town. when it is all said and done it will be about $1500 to get everything working right. after i replace everything and such. O ya they also didnt replug my ac drainage valve under the hood. This cost me another $100 dollers to take to dealership to fix this. hate this place!!!

I had my car tinted at the one in Houston with no problem. Sounds like shitty management.
