Hoosier drag radials

Hoosier drag radials
Big debate between the Hoosier DR's and the M/T's ET Radials but it seems more people are going with the Hoosiers as of late.
FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT HAVE USED BOTH What is your take on these? From what I have read they hook as well, if not better, than the M/T's and people seem to be happy with the Hoosiers. I found that they have about 60 track passes in them. How many can you get out of a set of the M/T's?
Couple things out of the way:
I have used M/T's, they hook great. I know this no need to post it over and over.
These wont be on the street, I dont care about rain.
Thanks guys

Availability may be the issue.
Ive recently heard on another board that M/T is in a backorder status on popular 15 drag radial sizes. I personally run 16" drag radials and wont need another set til late summer so I really didnt look into it further. Ill bet thats the reason why Hoosiers are being bought up.

I have a feeling that the Hoosier DRs are in higher demand recently because of MT having backorder issues the last month or so. The 315/35/17 Hoosier DRs are now on backorder as well.
FWIW, I have tried both on the same car. I had some 255/50/16 MT Radials mounted on some stocker camaro rims that I shared with a friend of mine on my old 99 (used them on my current car for a couple track outings as well). Both of them netted low 1.7 60's on a fairly stock suspended car, with the hoosiers being stickier.
Before I sold my 99 I tried a set of the 315/35/17 Hoosier DRs mounted on my chrome 17x11 zr1s on that car. Only had them on for one track outting and it was rained out after one pass. The car cut a 1.71 60' off the footbrake launching at around 2500 rpm (TCI 4400 converter would only hold that on the footbrake). Only suspension mods that car had were BMR LCAs, DMS springs, and bilstein shocks (it was a nice weather street car). I liked the hoosiers alot, esp. on the street for a once in a while blast from a low roll or stop, but they were very soft and I would expect them to have about 1/2 the life of the MTs.
Once I get some street rims on this car again I'm going to do it when the MT 315s or 295/45s are available, simply because they have more of a weather friendly tread pattern in case I get caught in the rain. They work for MightyMouse on here, don't see why they won't work for me when I'm gonna be making about 150 less rwhp than his setup.
