Cadillac CTS-V - Are Vs the only stick shift CTS?

There is a CTS for sale in my area that lists stick shift but no indicator if it is a V or not. I have not been to see it in person. Was there a base engine/five speed or this a V and the owner is a hump? 2004 CTS.

You could get the base cts with a stick....I've only heard of a handful though.

I think they used an Asin gear box. I seem to recal that is was less then 5% of standard CTS's came with a manual. It's a shame, because the 3.6 is a nice peppy engine.

Well, they were prolly tryin to compete with the 3 series which you can get in a stick...but I guess the whole sport sedan thing didn't play....

they made only a handful of 3.6 6speeds but more 2.8 6speeds on the new 08 cts you can get a 6 speed 3.6 or 3.6 DI its still a asian gearbox
