I raced one a few weeks ago (just a couple roll ons) and beat him. The people my local board are seriously doubting it. Does it really sound that asinine? I definitely dont think so.

Mods are LTs, hooker catback, LS6 intake, lid, Torquer2 cam.

driver mod? right... most bolton ls1's can easily hang with a cobra now you throw in a cam and you can probably walk a stock one. ive done it

A bolt on + cam LS1 will be in the 370-390RWHP range, 400 with the right cam. A 03 Cobra will be in in the 360-380RWHP range in stock form.

It's basically a driver's race. Same driver's will be the car with the traction edge or the one with the power edge.

Once modded an 03-04 cobra requires the LS1 to be full heads/cam + traction mods. Even then it'll require more CI or FI to exceed it.

Thats exaclty what i was thinking...well thats what happened actually haha. Maybe he was a terrible driver, i dont know. All i know is that i pulled him multiple times from the beginning of each race.

stock 03-04 cobras run about a 12.9.......you should be able to beat them with just bolt ons...hell I raced one with a lid and exhaust and beat one, when I pulled up at the next light I found out it was a girl driving...

when i had lid/catback i beat one from a dig twice, hardcore. his car couldnt hook for **** on street tires, i had nitto's. yeah it was fun

in bolt on form i beat a stock 03 cobra.........w/ my cam in i beat one that was pullied and programmed so i'll vouch for you and say yes its very possible.

Bolt ons and a stock termi is a drivers race - add a cam and advantage LS1 on a STOCK Termi!

12.5 @ 110 with dr's...other than that my formula was stock..i have beaten many a almighty cobra...supercharged or sprayin...it is MORE than doable...

very doable, especially from a dig. i raced a buddy with a termi, his only mod was a cold air. He wasnt pleased with the 2 cars every gear i put on him. lol. btw my mods are fully bolt ons and a f15 cam.

A cammed LS1 should walk all over a stock 03 Cobra.
A well setup cammed LS1 can beat a pullied Cobra.

well ive killed plenty of 03 cobras in my 02 z06. bone stock I went 12.27 at the track. you have to remember those cobras are 4000+lbs. I ran a buddy of mine who just rolled off the dyno with his 493whp cobra and I walked him 4 times in a row until he gave up. I think I was only at 380whp then with lt headers orx and a airfilter/lid.

Before I had my 4.10s I ran a stock 03 Cobra and was nosing him everytime. After the 4.10s it became more of a walk. Those cobras are heavy cars.
