my girl was nice enough to buy me a gigi a week before i deployed to iraq for 7 months. (for those who don't know what that is, just think of it as a replacement for a part of your significant other).

she also got me this dog tag made, one one side it's got our names, and the other it's got a laser etched photo of her on it. so my guess would be just a picture of her or something?

I actually had an ex, back in the day, do the cologne thing, but instead of a pillow, he gave me a teddy bear to spray it on and hug at night. I figured as a man, you'd prefer a pillow instead of a teddy bear, though, lol!

My wife and I did the cologne/perfume thing when I traveled. It was a nice reminder. With the state of technology today, ya'll can do phone videos and see each other all the time.

As far as your other girl, I suggest you pull a spark plug and keep it in your pocket. Give your girlfriend the plugwire and ya'll hook it back up when you get home. Safe travels.

The shirt with perfume is a good idea. Ipod is a GREAT idea. She can put videos and photos on it. Everytime you listen to it you can have a slideshow of her running.

Good luck with the 7 months. That is a LONG time for couples to be apart from each other.

Best thing is if she has a pc, and you have a laptop, get each other webcams and yall can talk/see each other while you're gone. Hell you wont even need her to send you nudy pics cause she can show you the goods on the webcam.

Is it going to be seven months straight? If so buy her a plane ticket to spend the weekend with you or buy yourself a ticket to come home for a weekend. Either way surprise her with it.
