Default Late model 5.7 hemi performance shops

Since GM will only sell a 5.3 v8 in their regular cab trucks I am considering a Dodge Ram 5.7 regular cab truck.

Does anyone know of a performance shop in houston that does work on late model 5.7 hemi's? Interested in heads/cam and header type work.

Thanks
Hugh

Dude, get the 5.3L anyways. It has better potential than the Hemi does, and they aren't slugs by any means. Our '07 GMC 5.3L was just as quick as our '06 Hemi Ram. Besides, you already know how to modify the LS engine, and there are tons of new/used parts out there for them.

Yea I guess I should stay with GM but I am kinda pissed that they dont offer a single cab in 6.0. There seems to be no love for the gearhead in the GM truck offerings.
The aftermarket seems to be much stronger for LSx but I was just putting my feelers out for the other because I would not have to change the bottom end on 5.7 like I will on 5.3. I am looking for 425 or better rwhp.

Just sell the 5.3 and drop in a 6.0. It's been done plenty of times.

6.0 is an easy swap into a truck, plus endless heads and intake manifold selection.
i dont think the hemi aftermarket is any where near the lsx

Call Steve Frank with Frank Racing. They have record setting Hemis. Their shop is on 290 near Jone road. 713-530-5486. Great guy who was one of the early LS1 racers.
