i ran the 1/8 out here and my 60' was in the 2.4-2.6 range over 12 races. How are you guys coming out of the hole? I have stock TC, tranny, rear. Should i stall it up to 1500rpm and then let loose? Oh and should i go pedal to the floor, cause i thought that made it go into 4th then back down to proper gear (which would slow me down right)?

but I'll help out here:
When I ran on street tires with my Formula, I'd stall to about 900-1000 rpm. If you go much higher than that with a stock converter the car will actually "push" off the line instead of "launching." You want the suspension to work and shift the weight.
You also want to roll into the throttle. This takes practice for what it will hold. I've gone a 2.00 60 foot on the stock goodyears at 25 psi, and it's all a matter of balancing how much to modulate the pedal.
Good luck!
